About
Welcome to Rossorame Ristorante Pizzeria, a hidden gem tucked away in the charming Isolotto district of Florence. Located at Via Sant'Angelo, 11, this modern eatery is a delightful blend of Italian tradition and contemporary flair. With its accessible location, it is easy to reach both by car and public transport, making it a perfect stop for locals and travelers alike.
At first glance, the vibrant and modern decor of Rossorame is inviting, but what truly shines in this ristorante is its eclectic menu. Pizzas here are worthy of special mention, particularly their impressive range of options catering to various dietary preferences. As Michela R. aptly noted, the gluten-free pizza—featuring lovely combinations such as the Blurame with gorgonzola, purple potatoes, and friarielli—was not just tasty but also delightfully light. The crust, although slightly charred in places, was remarkably well-risen and flavorful.
The restaurant also caters to a variety of tastes with other unique dough options, including whole grain, multigrain, and even activated charcoal bases. This commitment to inclusivity ensures that everyone has something to savor, from classic marinara to inventive culinary creations. In fact, Aurelius L. praised the wood-fired pizzas and emphasized the freshness and crispiness that only a proper oven can provide, a testament to Rossorame's dedication to quality.
For those looking for something different, the menu extends beyond pizza, featuring intriguing dishes that beckon for your attention. The next time you find yourself in Florence, you might want to dive into comforting options like their fried cauliflower chicken or the delightful covaccini, which promise to tantalize your taste buds and leave you yearning for more.
While some diners, such as Jacqueline Werner, found the solely Italian menu a challenge, it is evident that the staff is ready to assist, ensuring a pleasant experience for all patrons. Further enhancing this eatery’s appeal is the speed of service; Nico B. reported a swift delivery for their orders, highlighting the efficiency that Rossorame brings to the table.
In a world of gastronomic choices, Rossorame Ristorante Pizzeria stands out not just for its delicious food, but also for its welcoming ambiance and attentive service. This establishment won't just fill your stomach; it will also foster a delightful culinary experience that lingers on your palate. Whether you dine in or order out, prepare for a pizza experience that you'll definitely want to revisit.
“ Menu only in Italian and the service not open to support or translate. Food was okay, but nothing special. ”
“ ordered pizza twice via glovo. everything went well and was very quick (15 and 20 mins iirc). really really good marinara! ”
“ Great restaurant with many gluten free options. We enjoyed the pizzas, calzone and desserts. Everything was fresh and tasty, the crust was nice and crispy from the wood fire oven. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We will go back for sure! ”
